Public Witness Vigil

Local families are being torn apart and separated, leaving traumatized U.S. citizen children and spouses in a desperate scramble for basic survival.

Come be a part of the 61 peaceful vigils happening all across Indiana in 58 towns (+virtual) as we demand a permanent end to ICE detentions at the Miami Correctional Facility and immediate improvements to detainees' living conditions.

As we gather to remind people that every human life has dignity and deserves respect, we will have guest speakers, singing, candles, and placards in memory of those who've died in ICE detention.

Fishers is for everyone. Indiana is for everyone. Let's raise our voices, together.

Severe understaffing, preventable deaths, falsified medical records, civil rights violations, drug dealing, and guard contraband smuggling are all happening inside Miami Correctional. Detainees who petition the court routinely must wait three months or more for a juducial decision, even if they were falsely or unconstitutionally detained or abused.
